Oregon Flight Basketball

Oregon Flight, originally named Team Flight, was founded in 2002 by Coach Brandon Rath. Originally a boys basketball club, Team Flight ran for more than a decade and served as one of Oregon’s Premiere Basketball Clubs. Numerous Team Flight Alumni have went on to play Diviosion 1, II, III basketball and several have played both in the NBA and/professionally overseas. Team Flight returned in 2021 as a Girls’s Basketball Club later changing it’s name to Oregon Flight. Oregon Flight is now one of the premiere girls basketball clubs in Oregon at the 5th - 8th grade level.

Brandon Rath

Brandon Rath, a local three-sport standout at Springfield High School, discovered his passion for coaching at just 18 years old. His impressive 26-year coaching career includes leading high school boys' basketball from 2000 to 2008, culminating in a state championship at Marist High School in 2008. Brandon’s dedication to developing young athletes has continued through his roles as Director of FBC Oregon and Founder of Oregon Flight Girls Basketball. The Oregon Flight girls’ program has quickly become the premier girls' youth basketball club serving the state of Oregon. His daughter, Braelynn, also plays—helping to build a legacy of basketball excellence that spans generations.

Jeff Irving

Jeff is a Eugene native who grew up playing several sports including basketball, baseball, football, soccer, volleyball and wrestling... but his first love was always basketball. 

He's been coaching boys and girls youth basketball since 2017 and joined Oregon Flight in 2022.

Jeff believes in hard work and creating a fun playing environment. He has a true passion for coaching basketball and loves helping his players to grow and maximize their abilities. Jeff's daughter Isabella plays on FBC Oregon Flight.
